RADIO CONTROLLED STOP/GO BOARDS

Fully approved by the Department of Transport , this single operator system provides the operator with the capability to control traffic with greater safety and at the same time dramatically reducing labour costs.

The system is programmed to prevent the possibility of the operator accidentally displaying a GO signal simultaneously at both ends of the works area. Fail Safe: In the unlikely event of a fault occurrence, the system will automatically display a continuous STOP signal at both ends of the works area. The system is radio controlled. The handheld radio control unit has a 'single press' button mechanism. Each single press sends a coded signal that activates and rotates one or the other of the STOP-GO boards from STOP to GO and vice-versa, each in the correct programmed sequence.

The system provides the operator with the capability to instantly display a continuous STOP signal at both ends of the works area to allow for works vehicles entering the traffic lane, or in response to emergencies occurring within the works zone.

Maintenance: Each base unit incorporates an in built rechargeable battery pack. When fully charged each unit provides the operator with up to 400 hours of continuous operation.

The radio remote control unit's battery pack is capable of providing up to 100 hours of continues operation. All units are recharged in their housed position and incorporate a meter to indicate battery levels.
